Research Summary:
The current research aims to measure the effectiveness of a program based on story patterns (traditional and electronic) in developing some language skills for a kindergarten child, and the research sample consisted of (90) boys and girls between the ages of 4-5 years. They were divided as follows: the control group used for the daily program in kindergarten, numbering (30) boys and girls, the first experimental group used for the traditional story, numbering (30) boys and girls, and the second experimental group using the electronic story, numbering (30) boys and girls, and the researcher prepared the research tools Which consisted of: a list of some language skills for the kindergarten child, and a note card to measure the performance aspect of some language skills (listening - speaking - readiness to read - readiness to write) for the kindergarten child, the program based on traditional and electronic stories, and the research used the experimental method by conducting a two-group experiment (experimental - control) to develop some language skills Through a program based on the patterns of stories (traditional and electronic) in developing some language skills of the kindergarten child, The results resulted in the progress of the children of the first experimental group, which was taught with traditional stories such as (album, illustrated story in the form of cards, and the lint story) over the children of the second experimental group who studied with electronic stories such as (some video clips, and some cartoon clips) in some language skills.
