Abstract:            
The current study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of a program based on using visualized mental maps strategy in developing decision taking skill of the kindergarten child. For this purpose, the study utilized the experimental approach with the quasi-experimental research design that follows one group design of pre- and post-measurement as it is the most suitable to the study nature. The study sample consisted of (23) children whose ages ranged from (5-6) years old. For data collection tools, the researcher utilized a pictured decision taking skill scale for the kindergarten child (prepared by the researchers). Besides, the researcher addressed the problem of the study by utilizing a program using visualized mental maps strategy in developing decision taking skill. Results demonstrated the effectiveness of the presented program using the visualized mental maps strategy in developing decision taking skill among kindergarten children.
