Abstract:
The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a program based on the assessment of ABLLS-R for developing the motor-sensory cognitive abilities and its effect on reducing impulsivity in children with Asperger syndrome. The research sample included (12) male and female children with Asperger syndrome. Their ages ranged from (4-6) years. The tools used in this research were the Asperger’s Diagnostic Scale (prepared by Amal Baza, 2017), and “Dayton” Scale of Motor-Sensory Cognitive Abilities, and the Impulsivity Scale (prepared by the two researchers, Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale” fifth edition”, and a program based on the assessment of ABLLS-R (prepared by the two researchers).
The research had concluded the following results:
·     There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the sample under investigation on the motor-sensory cognitive abilities among children with Asperger syndrome in favor of the post measurement.
·     There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the sample under investigation on the impulsivity scale among children with Asperger syndrome in favor of the post measurement.
·     There are factors of motor-sensory cognitive abilities that contribute more to reduce impulsivity in children with Asperger syndrome. They contribute according more according to the following order (neuromuscular control and rhythmic dimension - perceiving shapes dimension - balance dimension - eye/hand compatibility dimension - auditory discrimination dimension).

Accordingly, the research had concluded some recommendations and suggested research. The most important factor was the adoption of the ABLLS-R program as an assessment and training tool in centers for children with special needs, and training specialists to use it.
