Abstract:
The aim of the current research is to identify the correlation between cognitive styles and psychological exhaustion among mothers of kindergarten children, and to identify the most cognitive styles (stiffness /flexibility, dependence / independence, endurance / resistance to ambiguity) as a contribution to predicting psychological exhaustion among mothers of kindergarten children, and the basic research sample consisted of 224 mothers from kindergarten children in Minia Governorate, and the cognitive methods scale of mothers of kindergarten children was used (prepared by the two researchers), And the measure of psychological exhaustion among mothers of kindergarten children (prepared by the two researchers), and The results also indicated that there is an inverse correlation between some cognitive styles (stiffness/flexibility, dependence/independence, endurance / resistance to ambiguity) and psychological exhaustion among mothers of kindergarten children, and that the cognitive style (rigidity/flexibility) is the most contributory cognitive style in predicting psychological exhaustion, followed by Cognitive method (reliance / independence), and the results showed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of working and non-working mothers on the psychological exhaustion scale in favor of working mothers. This research concluded with a set of recommendations and suggested research.
