Abstract:
        The current research aims to measure the effectiveness of the program based on lyrical theatre in improving the concept of happiness among Children with mild intellectual disability. It includes five main dimensions where each includes two sub-dimensions, which are represented in self-care and health, positive family relationships, interaction with peers, Appreciation and praise and achievement pleasure. The two researchers have relied on the use of the descriptive approach to define the variables of the research and design its tools, and quasi-experimental approach to measure the effectiveness of the lyrical theatre program in improving the concept of happiness among Children with mild intellectual disability. they have used Experimental design with the two groups; experimental and control. The two researchers prepared happiness scale, a practice observation form for Children with mild intellectual disability on the concept of happiness and lyrical theatre program. The research sample consisted of 20 children whose mental ages ranged between (4-6) years and chronicle ages ranged between (8-12) years, where they were divided into two equal groups, the first is a control group and the second is an experimental one exposed to lyrical theatre program. The results showed success of the lyrical theatre program in changing the behavior of children towards themselves, their health, their family members and peers.
