Abstract:
The current research aimed at developing the skills of evaluating daily activities among kindergarten pre-service teachers using the Reggio Emilia approach. The research relied on the experimental research approach with the quasi-experimental design of one group with pre-and post-measurements for the study group due to its relevance to the research nature. The research sample consisted of (40) female students from the Faculty of Education for Early Childhood. The following tools were utilized: an observation card for pre-service teachers during evaluating kindergarten daily activities using the Reggio Emilia approach (prepared by the researcher), an achievement test to measure the level of scientific knowledge of the skills of evaluating daily activities among female students at Faculty of Education for Early Childhood, and the training program employing the Reggio Emilia approach for developing some skills of evaluating kindergarten daily activities among pre-service teachers at Faculty of Education for Early Childhood. Results concluded that the training program employing the Reggio Emilia approach helped in developing some skills of evaluating kindergarten daily activities among pre-service teachers.
