Abstract:      
 The current research aims to measure the effectiveness of the theatrical games program in improving the handling of educable mentally handicapped children with some environmental crises, which includes four main dimensions where each includes two sub-dimensions, which are represented in home crises included problems of fire and electricity and problems of falling and stumbling, class crises included peer violence and the spread of infectious diseases, external crises included dealing with strangers and walking in public places and natural crises included climate changes and nature pollutants. The researcher has relied on the use of the descriptive approach to define the variables of the research and design its tools, and quasi-experimental approach to measure the effectiveness of the theatrical games program in improving the handling of educable mentally handicapped children with some environmental crises. She has used Experimental design with the two groups; experimental and control. The researcher prepared environmental crises scale, a behavior observation form for mentally handicapped children in dealing with some environmental crises, and theatrical games program. The research sample consisted of 30 children whose chronicle ages ranged between (8-12) years, and their mental ages ranged between (4-6) years, where they were divided into two equal groups, the first is a control group and the second is an experimental one exposed to theatrical games program. The results showed success of the theatrical games program in changing the behavior of children towards their environmental crises, due to the diversity of its activities between puppet games, mime games, and role games.
