The current research aimed at revealing the effectiveness of a program based on the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) in developing fine motor skills among autistic children. The research sample consisted of (5) autistic children whose ages ranged between (5: 8) years, their scores on the Autistic Child Diagnostic Scale (CARS-2) ranged between (30: 34), and their IQ on the Stanford- Binet Intelligence scale ( fifth edition) ranged between (70:90), at Nour Center for speech and accredited training, Minia Governorate. For data collection, the following tools were applied: the fine motor skills performance scale (by the researcher), a program based on the picture exchange communication system (PECS) for developing Fine motor skills among autistic children (by the researcher). The program was implemented by (4) sessions per week. Results revealed the effectiveness of the program based on the picture exchange communication system in developing fine motor skills among the research sample of autistic children. Besides, results demonstrated the continued effectiveness of the program after the follow-up period.
