Abstract:
This study aimed to know the nature of the relationship between ruminant thoughts and variables: schizophrenia - obsessive - paranoia - anxiety, as well as the possibility of predicting the degree of variables: schizophrenia – obsessive compulsive - paranoia – anxiety with the degree of ruminant thoughts, and the comparative correlative descriptive approach was used., and the data collection tools were the following scales: the ruminant thoughts scale, the constructive and non-constructive anxiety scale, the paranoia scale, obsessive-compulsive disorder and schizophrenia.
This study was conducted on (358) adult males and females of both sexes, their ages ranged between (18-40). A year with an average age of (29)and a standard deviation of (1,24), and the results of the study concluded that there is a correlation between ruminant thoughts and variables: obsessive-compulsive disorder, paranoia, schizophrenia, anxiety in the total study sample, and it is also possible to predict the degree of variables ( Obsessive-compulsive, paranoia, anxiety and schizophrenia with the degree of ruminant thoughts among the total study sample.
