The current research aims at identifying the relationship between lateral thinking and self-efficacy among the College of Education for Early Childhood female students، Minia University. For this purpose، the relational research approach was utilized. The research sample comprised (70) female senior students at the College of Education for Early Childhood، Minia University. This research was conducted at the College of Education for Early Childhood، Minia University during the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021. To collect data، the current research utilized the lateral thinking test (prepared by the researcher، 2020) and the self-efficacy scale (by Hoida Hanafi Mahmoud، 2013). Results demonstrated that there was a direct causal relationship between the dimensions of lateral thinking and self-efficacy among female students of the College of Education for Early Childhood، Minia University.
