هدفت الدراسة الکشف عن درجات تقدير الذات لدى السجناء وکيف يمکن من خلال درجات تقدير الذات التنبؤ بوصمة الذات لدى السجناء.، وقد تم تطبيق مقياس تقدير الذات، ومقياس وصمة الذات(أعداد الباحثين) على(ن=100) من السجناء في جرائم مختلفة. ولخصت الدراسة الي مجموعة من النتائج أهمها انه يمکن التنبؤ بوصمة الذات لدي السجناء خلال تقدير الذات. کما أن لديهم تقدير ذات منخفض نظراً لإنتمائهم إلي الجماعات الأقل قيمة، حيث أنهم يستدمجوا الإتجاهات السلبية الصادرة عن نظرة المجتمع لهم والإدراک السلبي تجاههم وبالتالي إستدماج الشعور بوصمة الذات.
The study aimed to reveal the self-esteem scores of prisoners and how self-esteem scores can predict the self-stigma of prisoners. The self-esteem scale and the self-stigma scale(numbers of researchers) were applied to(n = 100) of prisoners in various crimes. The study summarized a set of results, the most important of which is that it is possible to predict self-stigma among prisoners through self-esteem. They also have a low self-esteem due to their belonging to the less valued groups, as they integrate the negative trends emanating from the society’s view of them and the negative perception towards them and thus incorporate the feeling of self-stigma.
